Pinspiration: Upcycled Home Decor Series Part 2

Posted by on in Uncategorized, Upcycling | 0 comments

I constantly look through pictures of re-purposed and upcycled furniture and other home decor related projects. I’m slightly obsessed. Every week I am going to showcase my favorite upcycled projects.

This is so cool. I really like how they chose not to paint this piece, and simply keep it a natural look. It looks so amazing in that room too, because it is so unexpected. I wish I could see more of this picture. From the sides of the room, it looks like it could be a modern-styled bathroom. If this is the case, I love it even more. I love mixing different decorating styles.

Another cool bathroom piece. I like the distressing on the old console table. (Also, side note: Am I the only one who is obsessed with rolled up towels in the bathroom? I stuff towels in baskets like this too. I love how it brings texture and a spa-like feel into the room).

This was featured on Design Sponge. The sofa’s frame was originally an old door. I wish I could be this handy. I really would love to learn how to build furniture like this. I have to admit, I’m a little scared of the power tools involved, however. Someday I’ll learn =)

Old Pallet pieces used as shelves. This is a cute idea. It has a rustic vibe to it. I found this over at Pinterest.

If anyone has anything they want me to feature next week, let me know. Email me at Jessica@shabbytochicdesigns.com or leave me a comment below <3
