6 Simple Organizing Secrets That Will Make Your Life Easier.
2011 is quickly coming to an end, and it is already making me think ahead to January 1st. I’m reflecting on the past year and looking forward to the new one ahead. Every year I resolve to become more organized, which I’m sure if common among most of us.
Ever have one of those “Duh” moments, where you find a tip so simple, yet so clever, that it makes you wonder why you hadn’t thought of it before? Well, I had six of those moments while doing research for this post.
I’m not sure why I have never thought of this – Storing sheet sets in their corresponding pillow cases. Brilliant.
There are about a million things that plug into my laptop. Nothing is more annoying than when the cord slips underneath my desk when I need to plug it into its’ charger quickly. Attach binder clips to the edge of your desk and attach your most used cords to them for easy access.

Another cord annoyance of mine – You need to unplug something out of your power strip, but you accidentally unplug something important, like your router (which you then have to reset), because you can’t tell the cords apart. Use the square “things” that holds your loaf of bread (I’m sure there is an actual name for these, haha). Label them with what the cord is used for.
Use empty tins to organize your office or “junk” drawer. Use separate tins for each type of item like paper clips, rubber bands, etc.
Baskets inside the refrigerator.
Attach and label all your measuring tools to the inside of a kitchen cabinet.
